The Best Deal I Ever Got, Part 2

The only thing better than hearing about someone’s great bargain is being able to get that same deal yourself.  Here’s part 2 of my "The Best Deal I Ever Got" series:

Investigate to get a super housing deal

“After nearly three years of driving by a vacant house and admiring it, my husband and I decided to investigate.  We found a phone number on the electric meter and through a series of phone calls, found the bank in Texas that owned the house due to a foreclosure.  After a year of legal hassles, we won a long hard fight and closed on the house for a total of $135,000. It then appraised at $300,000!”

Total Savings: $165,000!
