Money Saving Tip: Save Money with Energy Star

Here's a money saving tip taken from a magazine article.

In the July/August issue of This Old House, it talks about how buying appliances with the Energy Star label can save you money.  Yes, these appliances generally cost more, but they save enough energy to usually recoup the extra cost within a year.  Last year, Energy Star helped consumers save $10 billion on their utility bills.

Better yet, consumers can also get rebates on Energy Star products by visiting the "Special Offers" section of the Energy Star website.

We're in the market for a new dishwasher soon, and we'll certainly consider this information when we buy.
