And count your rolled change if you're getting ready for a garage sale. If people turn in rolled coins, sometimes the bank doesn't check that the roll has the right number of coins before they give it to you. If you wait until you're away from the window to count it, it's too late -- you're stuck. One roll of dimes I got was short 20 cents.
