The Richest Fictional People

OK, this doesn't have much to do with increasing your net worth, but it is a fun money story that I thought you'd get a kick out of.  Seems that Forbes has named The Forbes Fictional Fifteen -- the richest fictional characters ever.  The top 10:

1. Santa Claus
2. Richie Rich
3. Oliver "Daddy" Warbucks
4. Scrooge McDuck
5. Thurston Howell III
6. Willie Wonka
7. Bruce Wayne
8. Lex Luthor
9. J.R. Ewing
10. Auric Goldfinger

All of these are extremely wealthy, but they all have very different lives (versus the real Forbes list where most come from business backgrounds).  If you could be one of them, who would you be? I'm partial to #7 myself. :-)

I guess the guy on the cover of Monopoloy, "Mr. Moneybags" I think, isn't well known enough to make the list. By the way, I watched Wall Street yesterday and the Gordon Gekko character is amazing.

Watch out Willy Wonka, Bruce is comin' to getcha :)

Not familiar with #9 & 10 --- but, as it stands, where are the rich fictional females? Hmmm...
