Help for Hurricane Katrina Victims

I'm sure by now that you all have heard about (and likely been tracking by the hour) the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in the southern part of the U.S.  This is a chance for us to consider finances from a different standpoint -- to move from focusing on increasing our net worths for a bit and take some time (and money) to help others.

If you would like to help out victims of Hurricane Katrina, here are some charities I recommend:

• Salvation Army
• Red Cross
