Facts on Education (and the Value of It)

Here are some facts on education from the September issue of Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine:

  • 40% of U.S. adults age 25 and older take classes from an instructor.
  • 47% of adults spend at least 26 hours per year in work-related courses.
  • 18% of adults age 25 and older have a bachelor's degree.
  • 67% of employers offer undergraduate-education assistance.
