Here's part 10 of an absolutely great article from Kiplinger's on ways to give if you don't have cash:
Be a kid again. Nearly 500 communities nationwide are conducting Toys for Tots drives this holiday season. You simply buy a new toy and drop it off unwrapped at a collection location, and then the toys are delivered to needy children in your area. At SecretSanta.org you can search for local toy drives and other charitable efforts that support needy children this holiday season. This is a good way to get kids involved -- bring along your child, niece or nephew to the toy store to help make a selection.
I love Toys for Tots and groups like it. We give to one through our church and are thankful that we can help a few children have a good holiday.
