Educate Yourself into Riches

Here's an article that's about 95% junk, but it does have one good thought that I wanted to share and comment on. The article is titled educate yourself into riches and contains the following piece of good advice:

In my opinion, that means each of us needs to be responsible for our own financial education so we can tell the difference between good advice, biased advice, and crooked advice. If you can educate yourself to know the differences between those three types of advice, getting rich is easy.

Yes, responsibility for your money belongs to no one other than you. Take it seriously, study, apply what you've learned and you'll do well. Slack off, leave it to someone else, or don't put learning into practice, and you're destined for disaster.

Where do you get good financial advice? I've gotten a lot of mine from books. Invest in a few good financial books this year and you'll earn an almost infinite investment return.

i agree with you.

most of us don't realise that the term Rich is so subjective. different people have different preception it.

at the age of 50 where does someone start to build a good financial foundation and respect for money?

I like the post where it says that you are responsible for the money belongs to you. It's true that if you are saving money today, it will be for you tomorrow.
