Here's #2 in the list of the ten biggest issues/concepts/thoughts at Free Money Finance during the previous year: The Power of an Education.
I wrote less on this topic than I did on many others, but the simple power of the concept made this the second best topic at Free Money Finance in 2005 (at least in my opinion). The ideas that 1) an investment in a college education is one that can (and usually does) have a dramatic, positive impact on your financial life and 2) life-long learning will continue to help you grow your net worth after you're long past graduation are concepts that we all should consider and apply. Doing so can be the difference between a great net worth and one that's not far above water.
