Here's what I've shared so far regarding the "big event" coming up at Free Money Finance:
- It's called the 24 Hours of Free Money Finance and is on Monday, October 2
- There'll be one personal finance-related post per hour from 12:01 am on October 2 through 11:59 pm that same day. Yep, that's 24 money posts in 24 hours.
- There will be a chance for you to help support a charity (without it costing you anything!) and tons of FREE STUFF that I'll be giving away all day.
That's the summary so far, now let's add another detail. Today, I'll share how you can win FREE STUFF!
Every hour, on the hour (i.e. 12 am, 1 am, 2 am, etc.) I will be giving away a FREE item. Yep -- 24 giveaways in all! All you'll need to do is leave a comment on the post within an hour of it going up to be eligible to win it. I will then select a comment at random as the winner.
So, for example, at 12 am on October 2, a post will go up that will announce the giveaway that hour and invite people to leave a comment. Everyone who comments before 1 am (when the next giveaway is announced) will be eligible to win. On October 3, I'll announce all the winners in one big post.
Now, here are a few answers to questions you may have on the giveaway:
- You can win more than once. You can enter every single giveaway if you like (but only one entry per hour).
- Yes, people on the West Coast will have an advantage at the start -- it will only be 9 pm to them when the event starts on the East Coast. So they have the best chance of snagging those early-morning giveaways. Sorry, thems the breaks.
- While a few of the items will be the same (i.e. I may give away a book at 4 am and another copy of the same at 2 pm), most of the items will be unique. I have lots of great giveaways I think you'll love -- without much duplication.
- My usual giveaway rules apply (US shipping addresses only, I have final decision on winners, etc.)
Did I miss anything?
Hope you can attend -- it should be a blast!!
In the next update, I'll tell how you can use this event to make me give a ton of money to help people throughout the world.
