I think The Simple Dollar’s highlighting the value of your blog, and your acknowledgement of it in this post are great examples of positive press.

There has been a lot of talk in the blogosphere lately about “link baiting” through negative tactics. I think readers have much more to gain when bloggers highlight the positive in each other’s contributions as opposed to the negative.

Trent’s top 10 personal finance sites and the positive reaction of the sites he highlighted are great examples of positive press!

You're right. If someone write's something good or something about FMF and I find it, I will certainly consider highlighting it as part of my Friday blog updates.

People who write negative things just so they can get me to link to them just get ignored. ;-)
