Any advice and/or translation for what an index fund might be in Australia? The only reference to an index fund that I can find is a corporate fund offered by Vanguard: no individual investments taken. And so, I'm wondering if this is a difference in terminology across the Pacific.

What's the difference between and index fund and an ETF?
