I've listed each "game" (one post versus another) in segments along with the wording provided by the author when the post was submitted. Be sure to comment which one you like the best out of each set of two as commenters have the chance to win a free book. Here we go:

GAME 1

• Getting Rid Of Your Debt Without Worrying About The Latte Factor - This post builds a case against David Bach's concept of Latte Factor and suggests putting bigger problems higher on the list of priorities. To make things easy to understand, a hypothetical case of a person in debt is followed and the approaches are compared with respect to his debt reduction efforts.

VERSUS

• Tips for Having a Successful Budget - What is a best blog list if it does have at least one on tips for doing a budget?  Yet, instead of getting caught in the details of the numbers this takes a high level look what it takes to be successful by focusing the process rather than just the dollars.  It is in the process that we learn how we live our life and control our spending.  So, if you are going crazy with your current budget (or do not have one), this may offer you a path to a better budget.

GAME 2

• Make Multiple Debt Payments Every Month - I used this technique to get out of debt.  Don't be afraid to make multiple payments to a single account!

VERSUS

• Ten Simple Ways to Cover Your Ass(ets) - Saving and investing are only part of the equation... You also have to protect the wealth that you've managed to amass, no matter how much or little that may be.

GAME 3

• Avoid 10 Common Debt Reduction Mistakes - If you've decided to get out of debt, that is awesome!  But, be careful.  Read this post so that you can avoid some common mistakes.

VERSUS

• Why Aren't We All Wealthy (Yet)? - If PF bloggers are so knowledgeable, why aren't we all wealthy?   After all, most of the principles are simple, timeless, and can be done by the majority of people.  Here's my take on the age-old question.  Only one group will likely make it.  The other three groups will try valiantly ... and likely fail.

• 12 Mistakes to Avoid With Your Retirement Savings Plan - While most people take part in some sort of retirement savings that doesn't mean everything is just fine. • Why Dave Ramsey's "Drive Free" Theory May Be Flawed - When financial gurus speak, most people usually follow them blindly. Sometimes, for our own benefit, it is essential that we dissect their ideas to see if they really make sense. In this spirit, this post attempts to critically analyze Dave Ramsey's Drive Free theory on practical grounds.
