Selling Your Stuff Can Turn Useless Items into Cash

Here's a comment left on my post titled $10k Challenge: Sell Stuff You Own that illustrates exactly what I was talking about:

I've been doing this myself and have already made almost $700 on Amazon selling old books & videos. Not only do I have more money, but more room, too. Still have a lot to go through - we are trying to declutter and get back to basics. The stuff isn't making us happy - but the money will! :-)

$700? Not bad at all. That's $700 that wasn't being used, but that can now be put to great use by being part of this person's $10k in additional money this year. And we all know that $10k per year invested properly can earn a nice, big return.

Here's a list of my $10k posts so far -- in case you'd like to earn a bit extra this year:

I've been selling my stuff on Craigslist and I've done well. It's a great way to pick up some extra money.

What is the best website(s) to sell large quanties of used DVD's and used books that I have lying around my house?

You could save several times this by not buying it in the first place.
