Great Deals at Costco

I was at Costco last weekend and was hit by a couple of price comparisons I found. Here they are:

  • Kirkland (Costco's store brand) Suphedrine PE was three boxes of 144 tablets each (432 total tablets) for $6.45. Sudafed PE (the exact same formula, usage directions, etc.) was one box of 90 tablets for $10.45. I could have purchased the Kirkland version, used only one box, thrown the other two boxes away and still had a much better deal than if I bought the name brand. Just reinforced to me the savings that can be had if you buy store brand items.

Just a couple more reasons I promote Costco for free.

I love Costco... if I could build my house over a Costco, I would.

I love costco, I love the gas deals. When I drove back and forth in Southern CA, I saved a ton by stopping by at costco gas stations along the way. Always 10-15 cents cheaper! And a hot dog to boot!
