Funny...

I like. I bet you could make the same joke about any non-profit organisation.

Yeah, we were donating "only" $12,000 a year to our local church. When some things changed and we changed churches mid-year, no one ever bothered to follow up with us to see where we were and/or why our donations stopped.

Hopefully they wouldn't have followed up with you because of the money! It is a shame they didn't follow up with you if you were active participants in the church but I would have hated it if they followed up with you because of your tithes. It would have been great for them to make sure you were okay, send a card saying hi and ask if there is anything they can pray for you for (again especially if you were active, by active I mean in fellowship with the body there known by them and to them, but even if not the principle remains). That is too bad.

I just saw your blog from The NY Times post. I'm a Christian too and write a business blog (we have something in common).

I'll be checking yours out.

Thanks, Jason M. Blumer

I think this is really funny. I am a christian and I am not offended. Great job on this site by the way. It's awesome. Saw the write-up on typepad and linked to your blog.
