Now I've heard it all -- a funeral home for pets:
The funeral home will take care of all pets from dogs to iguanas, the report said.
The services range in prices from $150 to thousands of dollars.
Pets seem to be getting more expensive every day.
Hat tip: All Financial Matters.

how do i ask you a question?
is thi the right place?
it has to do with "help a reader" or "what would you do"

Goodness - now I know why people have pet insurance! Joking aside we have made a point not to have a pet for several reasons, one of them being the cost. I think people think they are cheap but forget how much the vets bills can be.

Kudos Mr. Pet Funeral Home Owner, you've made enterprising capitalists everywhere proud. You've identified a need for people who aren't content to respectfully place Iggy the Iguana in an old shoebox and bury him themselves in the backyard. So you'll it for them for a mere $150+. Good work.

Last night while working in my garden I heard an interview on CBC of a veterinarian that had started a bone marrow transplant service for dogs.

Highly recommend reading "The Loved One" by Evelyn Waugh.
Fantastic satire on pet funerals. It's short too - you can knock it out in one enjoyable afternoon!
