First Germany!

I'll cheer for at least one team from each pool.

Pool A: Portugal
Pool B: Germany
Pool C: Netherlands
Pool D: Sweden

Spain has some of the most talented players and I always liked Netherlands. But these two teams are underachievers, I hope this time one of them will win it.

Enjoy Euro2008!

1.) Spain
2.) Germany
3.) Czech Republic (I like the women)

Chris --

Great idea to cheer for one team per pool. My list:

A: Portugal
B: Germany
C: Italy
D: Russia

Polska!!!

Spain or Italy

:)

On paper I think the best team is Spain. However, you never really know who is going to win this. Just look at Greece in 04 nobody thought that they would win. If I pick just one team I think it will be Germany.

Yeah I'll be rooting for Sweden, but it's too bad that either England or Norway didn't make the cut. Not surprising though. As being a Chicago Cubs fan, there's always next year. :D

Thiery Henry, Patrick Vierra....no brainer, gotta go for France.

Of course I'm cheering for Poland.

My country, Ireland, ain't in it which always lessens my interest somewhat. But I'm pulling for some of the underdogs - Croatia have a good team, and I think Romania and Turkey can surprise people with their performances. I'm hoping for a Portugal-Italy final; both because where I live, Toronto, will go nuts and because both teams always have great eye candy :)

Vamos España!!!!

I'm with you that I usually cheer for England but since they're not in it, I plan on following along without necessarily cheering on any team in particular.
