Yet Another Example of Why It Pays to Shop Around for Car Insurance

Add this post from Clever Dude as another example of why it pays to shop around for car insurance. He saved $1,400 by calling a couple different insurance companies, asking for quotes, and comparing them apples to apples. Not a bad result for a couple hours' work, huh? The post details how he did it and is worth the read for those of you who think it might not be worth your time to quote out your insurance to a few different companies.

I also had to wait for 3 years before I was even accepted with Erie Insurance. But I hear once you're in, they really take care of you well. My poor wife was booted from them when we got married and it took 5 years to get her back in thanks to all my "incidents" :)
