Completely off topic, so move on if you're only interested in financial stuff...
Anyone else watching America's Got Talent? It's probably likely that some of you are as it's one of the most popular shows on TV now.
We don't watch much TV (as many of you know, we don't have cable), but we seem to get hooked (at random) on one reality show/competition per year, and this year it's AGT (last year it was The Biggest Loser.) Anyway, they're down to the top 20, and I thought I'd list my top candidates to win for fun (we'll see how I do in the next couple weeks.) Here's my list:
1. Neal E. Boyd
2. Nuttin' But Stringz
3. Eli Mattson
4. Queen Emily
Anyone else have a different opinion? Anyone else care? ;-)

I include Donald Braswell. I think he is a better singer than Neal Boyd. Better voice, IMHO, better vocal technique.
I like Neal a lot when he sings songs - last night, but I hated his rendition of "Nessun Dorma" on the very first audition - off pitch, strained, bad Italian diction, cracked on last note ... . I hope he stays away from difficult opera arias he doesn't have the technique to handle because he does have a beautiful voice.

Nope. I don't even own a TV. I will occasionally watch worthwhile recordings on YouTube, like the presidential campaign speeches. But for everything else, it's not even worth it.

To each their own, but in my opinion America's Got Talent is one of the worst shows on TV. I've watch it a couple times, for the same reason that most people look at accidents on the side of the road. I would equate the show to the high school talent contest. There's not a single person I've seen on that show that has an enough talent to spur me to pay to see them perform, and that's the point of the show. In addition, "The Hoff" and Sharon Osbourne are morons.

I Love Eli Mattson because he has the ability to sing a song differently than the original artist, but still very well and Nuttin' But Stringz is just an incredibly talented group all around.

So, all four of my picks made it into the top 10. ;-)
