Sometimes we go over in a couple of categories (misc expenses and food usually), but we always hit our savings goals. It helps to keep us on track, but we don't berrate ourselves if we go over somewhere...</p>Concojones commented on 'Budgeting with YNAB'tag:typepad.com,2003:6a00d83451bcbd69e20120a5e48858970b2009-10-14T12:15:09Z2009-10-14T12:15:09ZConcojonesNice post. Budgets always seemed like someone telling me what to do. I'm not very fond of being told what to do; so budgets and I never got along. I do keep a budget but I call it a spending plan instead. The spending plan is exactly the same as a budget but gives me a better sense of achievement. The spending plan is what I'm going to do to reach my goals instead of telling me what I can't do.</p>Eugene Krabs commented on 'Budgeting with YNAB'tag:typepad.com,2003:6a00d83451bcbd69e20120a5dcbc4e970b2009-10-12T15:48:39Z2009-10-12T15:48:39ZEugene Krabs...
