If you've read this blog for any amount of time, you know that I'm not a fan of so-called financial "experts". In fact, one reason I started this blog was to combat much of the misinformation they put out there.
So I really enjoy it (in a sick sort of way), when an "expert" gets exposed (like I discussed on Wednesday) or when someone else recognizes that the "experts" don't really know that much.
One of my allies in this effort is The Motley Fool. (Or maybe since they're somewhere near a billion times bigger than this blog, maybe I should say I'm an ally of theirs.) Either way, I loved the article I found on their site titled Make More Money: Ignore the Experts where they comment:
"Here at the Fool, we've always made our living thumbing our collective nose at Street Wisdom. It's not just because it's so much fun to do. It's so profitable, too."
They then go on to cite examples where experts said one thing and another actually happened.
Yes, I'm feeling a bit smug on a Friday. ;-)
Thanks to Consumerism Commentary for pointing me to the article.
Careful not to confuse "experts" with TV personalities, they are not the same. And don't the boys at Motley Fool hold themselves out as experts to some degree also?

Before you invest with ANYONE, read the book "Brokerage Fraud-What Wall Street doesn't want you to know" by Stoneman and Schulz.

EXPERTS in all fields come out of the woodwork when things have JUST HAPPENED , not before they happen . Financial and business experts , especially those in Universities , should be ignored and boycotted . These are the ones responsible for all the financial and other mess in this world , they have been teaching CRAP all these years , have little or no REAL experience , and are totally illiterate as far as Ecology , pollution and progress goes .
