Back in May, I ran a series called The Best Financial Advice I Can Give. It featured five top personal finance experts offering their single best piece of advice. The series got a great response and was even mentioned in Business Week's financial blog.
So when I ran across a short piece in Reader's Digest titled "Expert Advice That Pays Off", I knew I had to share it with you. Here's the first piece of advice, which comes from none other than Donald Trump:
"Review your budget regularly -- see where your blind spots are. I know people who don't count entertainment or alcohol or whatever -- everything must be accounted for. Even a tiny leak can sink a ship. The same with finances."
I like this advice -- especially the "even a tiny leak can sink a ship" part. I guess The Donald didn't get to be a billionaire by being a dunce, huh?
This looks like it could be another of your useful "best advice" series! Keep up the good work!
Rob.
