Money Saving Tips: Socks the Same Color

Here's a simple and "fun" money saving tip:

Buy all your children’s socks in one color and style so that if one sock from a pair wears out or gets lost, you can just match it up with another.

We don't limit this just to our kids -- I do the same thing. All my work socks are the same color (black) and style and all my athletic socks are all the same color (white) and style. Not only does it make it easy to find a mate when one wears out, but sorting laundry is a lot easier too. We're not trying to match 15 different varieties of socks as we put them away.
