That's a great tip on internet shopping, but don't forget to pay attention to tax and shipping rates to save even more. I just made a big purchase on, which is offering free shipping until Christmas and no tax for most states. I probably saved over 10% on that alone. Also, you can save even more money if you're ordering from the website of a brick-and-mortar store, as many will have a separate section for "Sale" or "Outlet" merchandise with items that don't pop up in general item searches.
