Another way to save is just have ice water instead of a soda, plus it is better for you.
True, true, true. Have you ever noticed how expensive even a Coke is at a restaurant? It can run $1 or more easily for a regular-sized glass. By way of comparison, this is more expensive than a 2-liter bottle purchased at the store on sale (and something's always on sale).
I only order soda at a restaurant when I know they have free refills and I'm very, very thirsty. ;-)
Man, you hit me where it hurts. I sometimes drink 3 or even 4 glasses of soda at restruants. I could be a whole lot healthier if I skipped it. My not into alcohol much, but you can save a bundle by skipping that at restruants as well. Some mixed drinks will run you $7-$8!!

Refills on water are always free, and better at quenching your thirst than soda.
