Feeling lucky

Today is my day. I'm feelin' it...

In again.. may be you should add an option to save comments, similar to "Remember personal info?" :)

Wooohoooo! I have word "Free" on my domain name...maybe I am a little more ahead of the game to win this free fabulous book? :-)

Once more.

One more time.

got my lucky rabbit's foot, today's the day!

Posting posting posting....

I have to say that the theme of "Career Intensity" is the only reason I'm able to be such a personal finance hound nowadays.

It took me a long time to figure out what I wanted to do with my life, and in the interim, I didn't put my energy towards what I wanted to do. I felt like I was just floating along. And because of that, I didn't take care of my finances like I should have. I wasn't spend-happy, but I definitely wasn't a saver.

When I finally got a job in the field I wanted (entertainment), I moved up quickly-- talk about career intensity! I networked with everyone in the office, learned everyone's name and made sure they knew mine, and got face time with the Big Cheese of the office. Successful people recognize and admire people that are hungry for advancement and hard work. That was certainly the case for me.

Once you get going, though, and move up a little bit, you risk getting complacent. That's the risk I'm running now and it's making me a little nervous about the future. Maybe reading up on the subject a little more will light a fire under me!

career intensity, that's what I'm talkin' about.

I love your blog! Keep up the good work!
