Can't you just return it at this point? Sounds worth giving up on Sears.

I'm not sure -- I'd like to and be over with the nightmare. I'm going to contact them and see what my options are.

sorry to hear your problems i am a sears tech and i do agree that after several attempts the machine should of been replaced i dont know about the michine u have but i know with refrigerators and stuff like that they have a lemon law after 4 fuctional repairs with in a year they will replace it,on the other side when something is on back order that is out of sears hands that is the manufacture it would be the same nomatter where u got it from and for the time period for service i know we only have a few techs that do exercise machines so they r backed up but in my end for heating,air or refrigeration its within 2 days unless u live far out then its on sertian days of the week well hope we have resolved your problem if not try to write a letter to out main headquarters
