In my post titled Save Money when Shopping Online: Always Search for a Promotion Code First. I highlighted a reader's comment that suggested always googling for a promotion code before buying anything online. A few days later, I saw a post on Lifehacker that went one step further -- it highlighted a site that collects promotion/coupon codes for online stores. The details:
Web site RetailMeNot is a search engine populated by users with coupon codes for online web sites. Basically, RetailMeNot aims to be a central repository of codes you can enter when you check out at an online retailer to get a nice little discount when applicable.
Great idea!!!!
If you want to save some money on your next online purchase, check out the post highlighted above for details on RetailMeNot. It could save you a bit of cash -- especially with the holiday shopping season upon us.
I hadn't heard of RetailMeNot...I'm planning a feature blog on a friend I have who's really good at getting deals on online shopping. I'm going to ask if he's ever used it. And I'm checking it out too! Thanks!
