I wanted to share with all of you the charities that benefited from Free Money Finance in 2006. As many of you know, I give the entire revenue (not profit, revenue, I pay the costs of the blog myself) to charity. I have roughly 20 charities that I've contributed to this year, but here are the ones that have received the majority of support in 2006:
- My church (I tithe)
- Samaritan's Purse
- World Vision
- Compassion International
- National Multiple Sclerosis Society
- Lance Armstrong Foundation
- The House of Mercy
Just wanted to let all of you see the list and let you know that by reading Free Money Finance, you are helping people throughout the world have better lives. So as you look to grow your net worth, you're also making the world a bit better for those who don't have much, are sick or who have been impacted by some tragedy.
Thank you.
I am a fan of most of your charitable choices - especially Samaritan's Purse. I have soured a bit on Lance Armstrong of late, his foundation is probably fine, but his personal life choices are difficult for me to support.
