They have an SP500 index, a Wilshire 4500-like index and an EAF-like index. The fees are from .03-.05% (Vanguard's vaunted SP500 index has low fees of .18% -- about 6x the current level of the TSP).

I can balance my investments by using other vehicles (Roth, etc) to invest in other indexes or stocks.

However, I am currently considering convering some to a Roth IRA -- it is such a powerful tool. But the first few don't really seem to apply.
Lord commented on 'Be Smart: Roll Your 401(k) to an IRA'tag:typepad.com,2003:6a00d83451bcbd69e200d83517b07069e22007-02-09T19:40:07Z2007-04-29T22:15:17ZLordOr how much faith you have in the fiducial duties and oversight of your former employers.
Or how much faith you have in the fiducial duties and oversight of your former employers.
sathiya commented on 'Be Smart: Roll Your 401(k) to an IRA'tag:typepad.com,2003:6a00d83451bcbd69e200d835179c1b69e22007-02-09T16:15:39Z2008-08-29T06:31:29ZsathiyaException to rule: I moved from a Utility company to Investment Banking firm where i had choices in my 401k...
Exception to rule:
