I came in on a referral from Learned's blog, and entered intending to vote for him, because I enjoy his blog and his chosen charity is certainly worthy. But Appreciate's story touched me more. For a number of years I was part of a group that cooked breakfast at a homeless shelter the first Saturday of the month. We brought our own supplies, and typically fed over 100 people. We were told it was their only hot breakfast of the month. So I have to applaud Appeciate's son, and encourage him to continue.
