I recently ran a series of guest posts on making the most of Social Security that was very well received. As such, I thought it would be useful for those of you who missed the series, to see all of the posts in one place, so here they are:
-
Social Security 3: Delay Filing for Younger Wives and Homemakers
-
Social Security 4: File, Repay and Refile to Get an Interest-Free Loan
-
Social Security 5: File and Suspend for Soon-to-Be Widowed Homemakers
Click on the one(s) you'd like to read. Or if you want to start at the beginning and read them all, click on the link at the bottom of the first post and keep going.
I have a few years left at 55 yrs old but these articles have given me something to think about. Of course, it does all depend on the availability of money in the SS system when I get there. Since I don't plan on dying early, I will probably wait until 70.
