Here's an email I recently received from a reader:
I followed with interest your quest for the best consumer credit card and am currently working on moving mine to Schwab. But I ran into a problem yesterday on a different plane. I am a church administrator and our church staff has been using Advanta credit cards. Advanta has now cancelled all their small business credit card accounts (4 days notice, thanks a lot). I was wondering if you....and/or your readers might have suggestions for the best small business credit card as far as rewards go?
Any suggestions for him?

Wow. I sure feel lucky now that I didn't do all my balance transfers onto Advanta card like I was planning. Thank goodness for peoples online reviews of companies!

Thanks for all the suggestions. As mentioned above, it was short notice which irked me..... then, the following day, I get an envelope from Advanta Small Business credit card division explaining all the new features the card has along with a new, revised statement. One has to wonder if communication or lack there of, didnt somehow contribute to the problems.

I, too, am a church administrator facing the same exact problem as your reader. (We had 15 staff Advanta cards rendered useless with 4 days notice!)
Our current choices(we are only looking at Visa or MC):
-"Visa Business Platinum w/ No Hassle Cash" (1% on all purch. + 25% year-end bonus)
-"Citizens Bank Business Rewards Mastercard"
-Any VISA/MC from Chase
Thoughts/recommendations?
