For those of you new to Free Money Finance, I post on The Bible and Money every Sunday. Here's why.
Just a simple post today. I want to highlight a resource I found that lists 1,193 verses about personal finance in the Bible. Here are some of my favorites:
-
Proverbs 10:22 – The blessing of the LORD makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it.
-
Proverbs 13:7 – One pretends to be rich, yet has nothing; another pretends to be poor, yet has great wealth.
-
Proverbs 21:20 – Precious treasure and oil are in a wise man’s dwelling, but a foolish man devours it.
-
Proverbs 22:29 – Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve kings. He won’t serve obscure men.
It's an interesting collection -- arranged by categories and sub-categories and includes the number of Scripture references and total verses listed next to each section.
I'm sure everyone can find a few that they like. What's your favorite?
Thanks for mentioning my website, FMF! I hope it will be a valuable resource to many Christians.
