Great advice here, there is one thing I would like to add.

Hire a good estate planning lawyer. It will be well worth your time and money to hire one. Estate plans can become very complex and you need someone you can call or talk to if anything in your estate changes. You need to build a relationship with this person and introduce your heirs to them so the process is as seem less as possible. Also, a good lawyer will make sure you have everything titled properly. This is the biggest mistake I see people make, they have things designated in their wills, but they aren't titled properly. End game? The title supersedes what is written in the will. Hope this has been helpful!
