Well, I had another successful year of Free Money Finance March Money Madness. Here's a wrap-up of the winners and where the winnings go:
CHAMPION
Our champion was Identify & Overcome Money Anxiety & Stress in Relationships. "Stress" blazed through the brackets like there was no tomorrow. I'm especially excited that this post made it into the competition because it was named one of 2009's top winners in the Best of Money Carnival. See, being part of the carnival has its privileges. :-) As a result of this win, $500 will be donated to Habitat for Humanity.
RUNNER-UP
Debt Free in One Year: A True Story finished second and had little problems in the tournament until the final round. It was a great post (very inspirational) and its success earned $300 for ¡Vámonos!
Community Ministries.
SEMI-FINALISTS
Both Managing Your Money Is An Exercise In Both Mathematics And Psychology and Truth, The Highest Thing that Man May Keep put up hard-fought battles but lost in the semi-finals. That said, they both raised $100 for their charities -- Second Harvest Heartland and All Saints Episcopal Church, Phoenix, Arizona.
Congrats to the winners! And thanks to all the participants and the voters who made this competition another great success! See you next year! ;-)
What an amazing project! Thank you, FMF, for your generosity and all the time you put into this.

Thanks for hosting as always, and congrats to the winner - Debt Free Adventure. I hate turning over my crown, but at least it's going to a worthy adversary - and a great charity - habitat - is getting the funds. (and of course my charity still gets $100, which will provide 360 meals!)
