Ok, I have a deal for one of you...
I have some free tax software (I have been given the codes by the company) and am willing to give it to an FMF reader IF that reader is willing to use the software and write an unbiased review that I can post here (here's an example of what I'm talking about -- though it's not the same software.) The conditions:
- You need to use the software to do your taxes (of course).
- You need to be able to write well (I don't want to edit someone's work.) Any examples/background you can give me that demonstrates your solid writing ability will be a plus.
- I need the review done and to me by the end of February at the latest.
Interested? If so, drop me an email. I'll wait a few days to get all the submissions in and then select a "winner".
Thanks!
The deadline rules out anyone who gets K-1's from partnerships, since those don't typically arrive until March. Unfortunately, tax software often doesn't handle K-1's rules very well.
