For those of you new to Free Money Finance, I post on The Bible and Money every Sunday. Here's why.
Recently some of the Christian Financial Alliance members answered the question "In your own words, define 'Stewardship'?"
Here's my answer:
"Stewardship is acknowledging that you’re a manager of God’s property that He’s entrusted to you, knowing that He’ll want an account of your performance someday and that eventually all you manage will be passed on to another to do the same.”
The other responses are interesting as well. If you want to see what others say, click through to the link above.

I'm interested in knowing your take on this issue. How do you define "stewardship"?
When a child is born the parents are the stewards of that child leagally for the first 18 years of their life. You have 18 years to build that relaionship to make them the best that the child can be. Does it end at 18? No it can continue for a life time. Parenting is a life sentence without a chance of parole.
Stweardship is a life sentence in that you are given resources that you are responsible for. "The Lord will provide" was a common catch phrase I heard alot when I was younger. I would like to have added "But the Lord also does not want you to be foolsih or stupid with what he provides you"
