Thanks for interesting post. at least, we have 3 reasons to love..

Good job going with a 15-year loan. I think your points about saving on interest and having "forced savings" towards your mortgage is a smart move. We opted for a 30 year mortgage. We should be credit card debt free in a few months and will have funds to be able to either invest or pay down the mortgage. I struggle with which is preferable.

My gut is that paying down the mortgage and investing is the smart move. But not sure how far to lean on either side.
