I have a credit card debt of $9,500. I prepaid 4% interest rate on it and it will start reacquiring interest in 3 months. I can pay that off in one payment. But I'm afraid of making my cash saving go down. What I need to do is pay that off in 3 installments.

After reading your "Do Something Every Day That Scares You", I am energized to do it. Tonight I will cut down my loan 35%. Next month by 50% and the month after 100%.

My S-M-A-R-T goal

Specific: Pay off $9,500 in credit card debt.

Measurable: Pay off $3500 on April 30, 2019, pay off $3,000 on May 31, 2019. Pay of $3,000 Jun 30, 2019. Bookmark this page and come back to it Jun 30, 2019 to post goal achieved.

Attainable: This goal is attainable because I have 6 months worth of expense saved up. I don't live paycheck to paycheck. What I earn this month, I'm not spending until 6 months from now.

Relevant: I'm doing this to be debt free. I already paid 4% in interest and I don't want to pay another 4% again. Not doing this is making me poorer.

Time-Bound: Pay of debt by Jun 30, 2019.
